The Fluff is Falling!!
Spring in Canberra has seen a mass of white poplar fluff (catkins) floating around in the air and clogging up our garden pathways. Poplars are on Canberra's "pest" list and are under management by the ACT government but their spread is on the rise. You can help to reduce the spread, even if only in a small backyard way, by collecting up the catkins and composting or disposing of them so that they do not take root in the ground as a new pest tree.
Daniel has been busy with springtime weeding and pruning, and regularly comes home with a huge bag of swept up poplar catkins for disposal!

Well needed clean up
